Gold Coast Science Fair 2011
The Gold Coast Science Fair 2011 is a two-day celebration of the latest developments in science that takes place at Varsity College and Bond University on the 20th and 21st of August. An initiative of the Gold Coast City Council, the Gold Coast Science Fair is a key activity within the TechGC program.The event is held during the last weekend of National Science Week and is proudly supported by the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research. The Gold Coast Science Fair 2011 is fun and exciting for people of all ages. It showcases innovative local technologies in an interactive way providing hands-on demonstrations, activities and competitions with a strong emphasis on education and enjoyment.
The Gold Coast Science Fair provides residents of Gold Coast city with a fun, practical and informative insight into scientific and technological advancements and career options. It is as an event that encourages understanding and participation in science and technology for the entire community. The Gold Coast Science Fair 2011 offers a great day out for the whole family!
What's the latest?
World-renowned Scientist David Hanson from Hanson Robotics will be attending the Gold Coast Science Fair on Sunday 21 August. He will have his robot friend Zeno for an on stage show-and-tell at 12pm!
